He answered and said to them: “He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man.  The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one.  The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels.  Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age.  The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness,  and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.  Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear! Mathew 13, 37-43

The story of the bible is the kingdom of heaven coming to earth as it is in heaven. This was always the hope of Israel.

The bible does not teach us that God is going to come and rescue his church out of the earth, and then send his wrath and destroy it, no God is coming to reclaim the earth and the nations, through the advent of the coming apocalypse, which means the release of the rule and authority of God, as is in heaven so also in the earth.

The book of the revelation is the climatic unfolding of the coming rein, of the great King, on earth as it is in heaven.

The earth is the Lords and everything in it. God is coming to first remove and destroy all that is against his Lordship and rein, then he will establish his kingdom on this earth.

The OT prophets point to these coming days, which are ahead of us

This world is in the grip of the dark forces of evil,` It is their play ground of wickedness. The world rulers of this present darkness, who jerk and manipulate this world, they will be the ones who will be cast out in the end, but also all who follow their evil ways.

The Lord will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one Lord, and his name the only name. Zechariah 14, 9

When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.  For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,  I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?  When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?  When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me. Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.  For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink,  I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’ Mathew 25

The parable of the wicked tenants of the vineyard, this really points to the rulers and authorities, the powers of this present evil age, who rule over the nations, they are the ones who crucified the Lord of glory. These dark sinister rulers, who were put in charge over the nations, they are the ones who will be finally cast out.

When we read the gospels, they are always pointing to heavenly realities, the things which are taking place behind the scenes, the invisible world of the heavenlies, this is the place that Jesus was walking and living in. This great invisible drama that is unfolding in the unseen realm, this is the place were all the trouble of evil is to be found.

We by nature are as blind as bats to this secret world, which can only be known to us by the baptism of the spirit of Christ.

When one is truly born into the living risen Christ, then one should be able to see this world of the unseen realm.

This is the place of true world government. This is the place of real authority. Nothing happens in our world, without it first happening in the unseen realm. Its the world that governs this world, we are in subjection to this place, Its what energizes everything created.

These rulers who were defeated at Calvary, they still have not been fully and finally removed. This waits for the end of the age. Remember the demons cried out to Jesus, why are you coming to torment us before the appointed time? These demonic entities who torment humanity in doing awful acts of wickedness, they knew that judgment was pronounced on them at the end of the age. They were shocked to see Jesus coming before the appointed time Judgment. Its like God surprised then when he came in the form of his Son?

The coming of Christ was the great secret which was hidden in God, which the rulers of this age were completely fooled by.

The coming of God in Christ was the beach head, of the coming rule and rein of God. The already but not yet has arrived in this world. The world that still dwells in the midst of the rulers of this evil age.

God in Christ is now allowing all the evil of this world to perfect the church of Christ, who are the future but also very present rightful rulers of this age, but also the age to come?
