War in Heaven

Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.  For I have come to turn a man against his father, a daughter against her mother,
a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household. Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it. Mathew 10

The kings of the earth rise up and the rulers band together against the LORD and against his anointed, saying, “Let us break their chains and throw off their shackles.”  The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them.  He rebukes them in his anger and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,  “I have installed my king on Zion, my holy mountain.”  I will proclaim the LORD’s decree: He said to me, “You are my son; today I have become your father.  Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.  You will break them with a rod of iron ; you will dash them to pieces like pottery.” Psalm 2

When we come into the Christ of God, then we come into the great battle that is now, and continues to rage in the heavenlies.

This should be the common reality of any, who through the cross come onto the ground of Christ crucified.

There is and has always been, a continuous ongoing war in the heavens. There are two opposing forces at work in this world.

When the true Church takes her stand on the holy hill of Zion, this then unleashes the raging of the hostile nations, who are under the rule of the powers of this age.

If one truly comes onto the ground of Christ, then everything around us comes out of the woodwork, it draws out the powers of this age, who are then flushed out from the darkness and into the light. Only Christ in you will do this.

if you live in peace with this world, then you have to question, are you really in Christ, or are you in yourself.

Yes there is great peace in Christ, but its a different kind of peace, a peace not like the world, a peace not found in this world.

The coming of Jesus brought a division, it cut the world into two, light and darkness.

We live in a world of deception, if one does not see this reality, then one needs to ask the Lord. Jesus show me the cross dear Jesus, let me see the coming of your Light, that has now come and revealed the darkness of this world.

This world is an enemy of God, it is hostile to everything God is, God is so other than this world, which is under the authority of the evil one.

Nobody in the right mind wants to be in a continuous state of warfare. It goes against every grain of our fiber, but this is what Jesus taught in the gospels, its what the book of the Revelation is all about, and this is what we come into, when we find ourselves on the ground of Christ and him crucified.

There will be no true peace in this world until the prince of peace comes and sits on his universal throne of glory over the nations.

This great move of all the religion’s of the world, to come onto common ground, and try to get along is not of Christ, its anti Christ. It is the spirit that is at work with the sons of disobedience.

There never will be a true oneness outside of the cross. The cross has a big no in front of it. Its says you must be born again to enter this new kingdom. The cross says no to one kind of a life, but yes to another kind. This other kind of a life is not the new improved you. Its not a cleaned up version of you, it is a different kind of a life, is not found in any other religion. It is the life of the eternal God, who came in the life of his Son. Took all of us with him to the cross, and there we died with him! But when we come out of the grave, we come out with his life. Our old life is left behind in a grave at Calvary.

This craziness of trying to be one with this world is so antichrists to the core.

If you love this world and the things of this world, then you are an enemy of God, this is what Jesus taught us.

  1. We can only be one in Christ if we are baptized through the cross, into his life. Flesh and blood will not inherit the Kingdom. There is no biblical foundation for this view of oneness. Either we are in this world under the ruler of this age, or we are in Christ and under the rule of his spirit. Oneness comes by entering into his body through death and resurrection.
