Supernatural world view

There is so much that is unsaid in the bible regarding the supernatural government, which is situated over the nations. These sons of the most high God, who rule and regulate the nations, which the most high gave to them as their inheritance. Yes that’s what the bible teaches, God didn’t lose the nations because of the sin of Adam, the bible says that God the most high gave it to his first born created sons, who are of an different order of beings. Who are like him, spirit supernatural beings that live in a different dimension, but they are not him, they are created by him, yes the bible calls them gods, which is so strange?

This ageless drama taking place in the heavenlies, which is situated over the nations, is so crazy for any who hold to the old world Christian view, which is basically all we have been fed since the days of Augustine. Before Augustine the church held a differing view on things.

If one reads Paul with all of his references to the language that he uses, regarding the supernatural world over creation, then things are so very different than what is taught today.

We have made the supernatural world, which God is a member of as the supreme one, who sits over this world of divine supernatural beings. We have been taught that some how God the most high does not associate with them, that they live in one dimension of reality and God lives in another, but this is not biblically true. The bible teaches that this world of the supernatural comingle in some kind of a strange to us humans way. These sons of God, who are hostile to him and his ways, they still have some kind of relationship to him, God meets with them, God sends them to do things for him, things that seem very strange to us.

And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left. And the Lord said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner. And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the Lord, and said, I will persuade him. And the Lord said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so. Now therefore, behold, the Lord hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the Lord hath spoken evil concerning thee. 1 Kings 22, 19-23

This portion of scripture is very strange, The Lord sitting on his throne and all the host of heaven standing by him? These host of heaven, who are the gods of the nations, they stand in his presence? they are told to do things for him? This world view is so other then what we think of today.

Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them. The Lord said to Satan, “From where have you come?” Satan answered the Lord and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking up and down on it.” And the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, who fears God and turns away from evil?” Then Satan answered the Lord and said, “Does Job fear God for no reason? Have you not put a hedge around him and his house and all that he has, on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. But stretch out your hand and touch all that he has, and he will curse you to your face.” And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your hand. Only against him do not stretch out your hand.” So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord. Job 1, 6-12

What does one do these portions of the bible, the sons of God, who are the gods of the nations, also Satan presenting themselves before God?

This so called Christian world view of today, that the sons who are the rules of this age are evil and demonic, and the Lord has nothing to do with? But they come and stand before him, and its not just once in a while, it seems like on a regular basis. They answer to him about the things that are taking place under their authority? God sends them to do things for him, God asks them things?

In the book of Daniel, this supernatural drama is also taking place. These watchers that Daniel speaks about, they are the rulers of the nations? But the strange to us thing is, they are against what God wants? they oppose the things that the Lord wants for his creatures, which live under the authority of these sons? We don’t know how many are in a place of rebellion against God, but they oppose his purposes, they are hostile to his ways.

How does one make any sense of these things? God talks to them about their poor and unjust way that they rule the nations?

God has taken his place in the divine council;
 in the midst of the gods he holds judgment:
How long will you judge unjustly
 and show partiality to the wicked? Selah
Give justice to the weak and the fatherless;
 maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. Rescue the weak and the needy;
 deliver them from the hand of the wicked.” They have neither knowledge nor understanding,
 they walk about in darkness;
  all the foundations of the earth are shaken. I said, “You are gods,
  sons of the Most High, all of you; nevertheless, like men you shall die,
  and fall like any prince.” Psalm 82
