The heavenly angelic powers, which are the governmental authorities, which sit in seats of ruler-ship over this present age. These angelic creatures, which were created as the foundationial structures of this present order and system of reality, which we presently live and move in, they are called the gods of this age.

These foundations and systems of human life, which we live in, are the reflection of these angelic realties. What ever happens in the heavens also happens on the earth.

If we really want to know what this other world of the kingdom of the air looks like, then all we have to do is look at this present world system, which we are cradled in.

This whole system of present reality, which we are part of, which we inhabit, it is the reflection of these cosmic rulers, who sit in the seats of power, as the gods of this eon.

Humanity now lives and reflects these invisible, cosmic ruling  realities of creation.

These invisible principalities and powers, who dwell in the cosmos, which is located in the realm of the kingdom of the air.

These hidden invisible magistrates, which are hidden to our natural ability to see, they exercise authority and domionion in the heavenlies, over this visible world.

In the beginning, God who created all things, is also the one who set these positions of government over his creation.

God set these rulers and authorities in these places, in the roles as his governors and magistrates, over his good creation.

The principalities and powers, world rulers, these are the names given to these first born created sons, who are of another order of creatures, which were created by God, for the good of the cosmos.

These powers structures, which brood over this world, are known as the gods of this present age, which is the present order and system of this world.

These rulers, who rule over the cosmos of Gods creation, they somehow have corrupted all their ways, instead of leading man to the true knowledge of God who created all things, they now lead man away from God, and to themselves, they now have become the gods of this age.

These systems and structures of creation, which they move and operate in, they were all created by God for the good of his creatures.

Something happened long ago, the bible has a few things to say about it, so much is left unsaid, There seemed to be a great cosmic rebellion, which occurred in the realm of the kingdom of the heavens. These rulers and authorities, which were given these places of great honor and authority by God, somehow rebelled against the God who created all these things, through the event of his eternal Son.

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.  For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.  And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. Colossians 1, 15-17

The bible is pretty clear, these powers who are in a state of rebellion against the God, they did not lose their positions of authority, as the rulers of this age. Even in their great rebellion, God did not remove them from these high places of authority and dominion. God left them in place, but he did, at the event of the cross, pronounce and deliver a divine judgment on them.

 Now is the judgment of this world; now will the ruler of this world be cast out.  And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself. John 12, 31-32

And you were dead in the trespasses and sins  in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience. Ephesians 2, 1-2

These powers of the air, whos prince is the great deceiver, they know and understand that their long rein of rebellion, will come to an end.

The Lord Jesus Christ, from the days of the cross, birthed a new order of humanity, an order from the great sacrifice at Calvary.

God is now preparing a new kind and order of creature, who were chosen from the race of Adam, who are called and known, through their union with the true eternal son, the sons of the most high God.

These new kind of creatures, which were birthed at Calvary, they have been given the same DNA as the one who died and rose for them.

These new sons, who are chosen from among Adams fallen race, they were predestined to be the new creation of Gods true sons.

These new sons of the most high, they have been given, through the victory of the eternal Son, these heavenly places of power and authority, over Gods new and restored cosmos.

And whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to him who is seated on the throne, who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before him who is seated on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever. They cast their crowns before the throne, saying,

 “Worthy are you, our Lord and God,
    to receive glory and honor and power,
for you created all things,
    and by your will they existed and were created.” Revelation 4, 9-11

The end of this present order and age, God will reveal this new governing body of sons, which are chosen and elected ones, who will inherit the government of Gods creation.

For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope  that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God.  For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now.  And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. Romans 8, 20-23

At the end of this age the great change of cosmic government, which is over all of the cosmos, will take place. There will be true priests and kings, who will sit over Gods restored creation, reflecting and imaging the true God, the God who is justice, love and mercy.

These kings and priests, they will reveal and image the true God, with the face of his only true Son, who is Jesus Christ our Lord!
