And there will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and upon the earth dismay among the nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the wave, men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

And then they will see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Luke 21-25,26,27

Speak to Zerubbabel governor of Judah saying, I am going to shake the heavens and the earth. And I will overthrow the thrones of kingdoms and destroy the power of the kingdoms of the nations. Haggai 2- 21,22

The coming of the Lord is the event, which triggers the shaking of the powers of this age, from their high places of authority over the nations.

Everything that we presently know as reality will be turned upside down.

The natural expressions, which will be convulsive in nature, is the invisible reality of war in heaven.

And there were flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder; and there was a great earthquake, such as there has not been since man came to be upon the earth, so great a earthquake was it, and so mighty.

And the great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And Babylon the great was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of his fierce wrath. Revelation 16-18,19

And the woman whom you saw is the great city, which reigns over the kings of the earth. Revelation 17-18

This harlot figure of the book of revelation, is first the powers who rule this world, then secondly it is the earthly expressions of this power. It’s not some institution, it’s everything that expresses this heaven and earth reality.

Many biblical expositors try to make the harlot of revelation something, which has a fixed point in this world.

There are many fixed points, which express this reality of Babylon, but the power of Babylon lye’s with the heavenly powers, who are the rulers of this age.

If we try to point to something in the world and say this is Babylon, it then becomes a headless body.

Babylon is very much alive in this world, but we have to realize that it is only an expression of the heavenly, cosmic, spiritual reality.

Babylon is first the world spirit. Behind this spirit is the prince of the powers of the air. He is the one who works in the children of disobedience. He is the energizing force that is released into the nations.

We hate to believe this, but we live in a world, which is dominated and expressed by his image.

This world in its present state and condition, is the image of Babylon.

Humanity is now only just racing into the full development of this Antichrist spirit.

Antichrist is not something that is coming. Antichrist has been with us since the beginning.

What we are witnessing today is the full development of this figure, we already worship the beast.

The number 666, is the full development of this man of sin.

He dwells in the life of Adam. This is his arena of operation. If you live in the Adamic life, then you are under his authority.

Adam is the slave to this spirit. It’s like Adam is in union with this man of sin now.

This world outside of the life of Christ, is chained to this man of sin. They are forced into doing his will, they can’t break free from the chains that hold them.

The only escape, is through the cross, which means regeneration into the new humanity, who is the Christ.

Mankind has now become a beast, he is something totality other and different than what God created.

We are living in a time when we are calling evil good, and good evil.

This world spirit is now growing in leaps and bounds. God only knows what the full expression will look like when fully developed.

I remember a brother speaking to me one day. He said, the world is looking and waiting for the man of sin to arrive on the scene, but he said, don’t you know? he lives in man now?

After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority. And the earth was illuminated with his glory. And he cried with a mighty voice, saying fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! And she has become a dwelling place of demons and a prison of every unclean and hateful bird. For all the nations have drunk the wine of her passion of her immorality, and the kings of the earth have committed acts of immorality with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich by the wealth of her sensuality.

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, come out of her my people, that you may not participate in her sins and that you may not receive of her plagues. Revelation 18-1,2,3,4
