And you he made alive, when you were dead through the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience. Ephesians 2, 1-2

For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the archangel’s call, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first; then we who are alive, who are left, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so we shall always be with the Lord. Thessalonians 4, 16-17

The seventh angel poured his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple, from the throne, saying, “It is done!” And there were flashes of lightning, voices, peals of thunder, and a great earthquake such as had never been since men were on the earth, so great was that earthquake. The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell, and God remembered great Babylon, to make her drain the cup of the fury of his wrath. Revelation 15, 17-19

Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign for ever and ever. Revelation 10, 15

 And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God. Revelation 11, 10

Paul speaks about a kingdom over this world, which is situated in the realm of the air. This realm of authority is the governing reality, which is ruling over the nations.

The book of revelation calls this place mystery Babylon. Babylon is the ruling mystery city, situated over the dominion of the nations.

Paul says that the prince of the powers of the airol hosts, is the energizing force, which the nations walk in, and under.

This realm of reality is under the dominion of the present prince of the rulers of this age.

The bible says, that the time is coming, when the prince of this present kingdom will be cast out, and bound.

Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they were defeated and there was no longer any place for them in heaven.And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God. Revelation 12, 7-10

Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain. And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years were ended. Revelation 20, 1-3

Paul speaks of the coming of the kingdom of heaven, in the advent of Christs return, but I didn’t really see this until recently. Why did Paul say that we will meet Christ in the air. This is a mystery, why in the air, and not on the earth, or in the heaven. Paul is alluding that the meeting, and uniting of the church, those who are dead in Christ, and also those still alive, Paul says the realm of the air is the place of the meeting of the church in Christ?

This has been a great mystery and confusion for the church, Paul doesn’t say that the church goes back to heaven, nor does he say that is comes to earth, Paul only says that the great meeting place is in the air.

I believe that I am beginning to see that this is what Paul was alluding to. When one reads Paul in view of his later writings, Paul talks about the realm of the authority of the air, which is situated over this world. Paul’s uses this kind of verbiage, when he speaks on the powers of the air, who we at this stage of salvation history still and continue wrestle with.

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.For we are not contending against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.  Ephesians 6, 10-12

So if this realm of authority, which is situated over the nations is a kingdom over the kingdoms of the world, then I am starting to see, that this realm of authority, and dominion, is the meeting place of Christ and his Church. I believe this is why the church becomes immoral, with new glorified bodies.

I believe the coming of the kingdom of heaven, is the replacement of the present rulers, and authorities, who are still presently in this place of power and authority over this world, and cosmos.

I don’t see the church as coming to this earth, to rule and rein, I see the church through Christ ruling and reining from this same place, which is the places of the thrones of power and authority over this world.

I believe the Kingdom of heaven is, and will be just that, a kingdom of heaven, not earth, yes earth does always answer to heaven.

Will this new kingdom when it arrives in full power be anymore visible than the present kingdom of this world? we really do not know this mystery.

I believe that the powers structures over creation, thrones, dominions, powers, principalities, I believe these are all set systems over creation, these systems God created when he made this heaven and earth reality.

I believe when these beings fall, and are removed as the rulers of this age, then the church through Christ, takes over the dominion of this world, and also the cosmos.

Satan was legally defeated at the cross, but the sentence will be carried out at the return, and advent of Jesus, then truly the kingdoms of this world, will be, the kingdoms of our God and his Christ.

 I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God; for the creation was subjected to futility, not of its own will but by the will of him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and obtain the glorious liberty of the children of God. We know that the whole creation has been groaning in travail together until now; and not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. Romans 8, 18-23
