The suffering servant

For let this mind be in you which also was in Christ Jesus, who subsisting in the form of God thought it not robbery to be equal with God, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a slave, having become in the likeness of men and being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, having become obedient until death, even the death of a cross. Because of this also God highly exalted Him and gave Him a name above every name, that at the name of Jesus “every knee should bow,” of heavenly ones, and earthly ones, and ones under the earth, and “every tongue should confess” that Jesus Christ is “Lord,” to the glory of God the Father.

God chose to be the suffering servant before the fall of Adam? We have it so wrong today. Before the birth of creation, God the Son took upon himself this form of the suffering servant. Christ entered into the sufferings of the fall before the event of the fall was? How wild is this event to grasp! He chose to be the first to suffer the effects of the fall he also chose to be the last to suffer the effects of the fall? His sufferings will not end until all suffering ends?

Everything that this creation has gone through he has already gone through? This is just amazing to behold, this suffering servant! Lamb having been slain from the foundation of the world.

The sacrifice was prepared and waiting before the fall. It wasn’t a last minute event, to remedy something unknown? The fall was seen and planned for before anything was created? And yes even before Satan ever entered into creation?

See what I think Paul makes clear in Roman’s 5, Sin came into the creation, and we had no decision in this, we are sinners now because we are all under this cosmic power?

God subjected the creation to futility. It was planned by God. The only way God could show his love for his creatures is to put them into disobedience, but in the end, reveal his great love to them? I know it makes God look bad, but when we see the after results of the fall, then his redemption for us, really it trumps anything that has happened to humanity. To come into the true knowledge of God trumps, everything, and anything that has happened or will happen to humanity. Salvation history will be the crown jewel throughout eternity. We will thank God for such a savings knowledge of his loving kindness of himself toward us!

Lamb having been slain from the foundation of the world, Revelation 13?

And now Father, glorify Me with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the existence of the world. John 17, why didn’t Jesus say the glory he had with the father before he entered this world? To me this says that the Son had a glory with the father before the foundation of the world, which he forfeited? He was equal with the father before this, but left this honor and became the suffering servant? at the event of the creation of the cosmos?

Fully knowing and fully aware of what was ahead, the need to come into the human condition as the redeemer of the whole cosmos. If he was the slain lamb then he knew and was fully aware of all the coming events of the fall?

The sacrifice was prepared and waiting before the fall. It wasn’t a last minute event, to remedy something unknown? The fall was seen and planned for before anything was created.

Why are we living under the law of sin? It’s a law that we had no choice about. We are sinners because we live under the power of sin? Could not God have put us under the law of grace in like manner? If God wanted to, he could make grace a law that we were under. He could have made the law of grace similar to the law of sin and death?

All I’m trying to say is that we are products of the environment that we live in. We are sinners because we live under the law of sin. God can and will put away sin and death at the end, once their purpose is fulfilled.

See what I think Paul makes clear in Roman’s 5, Sin came into the creation, and we had no decision in this, we are sinners now because we are all under this cosmic power?

It’s not human fault that we are sinners. We are just living in our natural environment? We are sinners because the law of sin lives in our members. It’s our natural condition of experience. But God will do away with it at the right time.
